Sacramento is a tattoo town. From the full-body “I can always get a job with Jim Rose” types to the girl in your office with the butterfly on her ankle, permanent ink is an indelible component of our local scene. It’s only fitting, then, that the All American Tattoo Festival is held here. If you’re ready to commit to an epic mural on your back, this is the place to meet talented tattoo artists. If you’ve already got an epic mural on your back, enter yourself in one of the weekend’s many tattoo contests. The festivities happen Friday from 4 p.m. until 11 p.m., Saturday from 11 a.m. until 11 p.m. and Sunday from 11 a.m. until 6 p.m. Admission is $15 per day or $30 for a three-day pass.
