Seasonal greetings

You don’t need another reason to love Mulvaney’s Building & Loan, the Waterboy, Tapa the World, or Paragary’s Bar and Oven. But if you attend Soil Born Farm’s upcoming Autumn Equinox Celebration, you’ll probably get one. Chefs from these four restaurants and more promise a seasonal, organic tasting menu that might just make this the event of the produce season. You can swirl wine from local vineyards, wander Soil Born Farm’s organic grounds and sway to live music by Mind X Quartet and the Spillit Quikkers. A silent auction will benefit Soil Born Farm’s initiatives to connect students and adults of varying cultural backgrounds with education about local and organic food, nutrition, ecological farming and sustainable living. The event takes place on Saturday, September 22 from 4:30 to 8:30 p.m. at Soil Born Farm, 3000 Hurley Way.
