Scout out some cookies

Nothing says spring like Girl Scout cookies. I asked Catherine Cameron of Troop 2706 what the three top sellers are. Sales are a little down this year, so make a sacrifice and eat some cookies!

“The Thin Mints are one of the most popular because they’re minty and chocolaty, and they’re really crunchy.

“Samoas are now called Caramel deLites. They were renamed because every few years we switch bakeries and they call it a new name. These have caramel and chocolate and coconut, and they’ve been around a really long time.

“The Peanut Butter Patties are a cookie with peanut butter on top and chocolate surrounding them. Everyone likes chocolate. People remember them from their childhood and tell their kids about them, and then their kids like them, too.”
