Children of the 1970s! Unless you were one of those kids with hippie parents who believed TV was the devil, you were probably a Schoolhouse Rock fan. Can you still hear those educational ditties rattling around your cerebral cortex? “Lolly, Lolly, Lolly get your adverbs here.” “I’m just a bill … and I’m sitting here on Capitol Hill.” “Conjunction junction, what’s your function?” The Davis Musical Theatre Company pays tribute to the hippest edutainment ever invented with Schoolhouse Rock, Live! Performed by children ages 7-17, the show features all your favorite songs. Bring your own less-fortunate children to experience Schoolhouse Rock for the first time. Shows are Saturdays at 2:15 p.m. and Sundays at 7 p.m. through March 15. Admission is $5. All shows are at the Varsity Theater, 616 Second Street in Davis. Call (530) 756-3682 for info.
