Scary Movie 2

College students (including Shawn Wayans, Marlon Wayans and Tori Spelling) who survived the previous Movie massacre are tricked into staying in a haunted house à la The Haunting by an oily professor (Tim Curry). The ensuing fright night is a crass, scraggly parade of penis gags, body fluid eruptions and poltergeist and pop parodies culture (from Nike TV ads to Charlie’s Angels). Recurring features of this mostly unfunny flatulence include verbally dueling cripples (Chris Elliott with a face fester leftover from There’s Something About Mary and a gnarled left hand, and Mr. Show’s David Cross in a wheel chair) and an obscenity-spewing parrot. The downward spiral of this series is even much steeper than the route taken by the Airplane and Naked Gun sequels. Directed and co-written by Keenen Ivory Wayans.
