Black Flag guitarist Greg Ginn returns to Sacramento with his band the Taylor Texas Corrugators. In the nearly quarter-century since he left the band, Ginn’s recorded solo albums, formed his own record label and performed with numerous bands. Some of the highlights included fronting the acid jazz-heavy Confront James and playing bass with Tom Troccoli’s Dog. These days the hardcore punk pioneer makes music that’s rich with a Western swing influence and imbued with a jam-band ethos.
