The funny name suggests a band more into ironic mustaches and hipster T-shirts than the music, but Nacho Business is no joke. The Sacramento three-piece featuring area music vets Candice Adams, Heather Crocker and Alec Roberts crafts lo-fi garage pop that’s sweet and tough. The band’s debut 7 inch, produced by Charles Albright, marries a ’60s girl-pop sensibility with ’90s-era twee. Songs such as “Sun Sun” and “Spend the Night” call to mind the Aislers Set and Tiger Trap channeling the Starlets and Lesley Gore on a heartbreak bender. Charles Albright and the Croissants also perform, and Scott Miller spins records. 2312 K Street, www.myspace.com/nachobusinesstheband.
