Who says the hardcore scene is dead in Sacramento? Leave it to Mikey Hood, yet again, to arrange another show featuring eight of the city’s best within the genre, including Pressure Point. A local oi! punk and hardcore outfit since the early ’90s, Pressure Point is quick, punchy and doesn’t apologize. Backed by heavy drums and driving guitars, the band’s high-energy song “Fuck the Kids” almost encourages listeners to join in reciting those three little words.
