A friend told me that Midtown dance night Oh Dang! is just an excuse for white girls to shake their asses to hip-hop beats. This may well be true, but I don’t think anyone is going to have a problem. At February’s incarnation of the semi-regular Saturday night event, deejays Savannah Macias, Bows and Arrows, and Mike Rafter will test your ears with jams old and new, all united under the banner of deep bass. Think Ludacris’ “Southern Hospitality” or Lil Wayne’s “Fireman.” The proverbial booty jams.
