Most readers know Arden Park Roots as a respected presence in the California reggae/rock scene, whose album The Hard Way was named best album of 2008 by SN&R readers. But here’s a primer for those out of the loop: Their music is Sublime-inspired yet carries its own distinctive sound, with plenty of Sacramento shout-outs. APR released its second full-length album, No Regrets in the Garden of Weeden, in July 2010, and it has been well-received by the band’s growing national fan base.
