Sampler
I watch her bite a chocolate cherry in half.
Her boyfriend, between us,
Places a hand on each of our backs
And then we’re tangled up
In a frenzy of fingers, teeth, tongues.
When we’re done she says
Look! I found the other half of the cherry!
