Welcome to Artober!
This month, Sacramento’s cultural organizations have banded together to encourage all of us to step away from the DVR and explore our city’s fantastic array of artistic talent. A tight budget shouldn’t keep you from going out. Many Artober events are free, like the Sammies block party on October 1, or La Raza Galería Posada’s Panteon de Sacramento installation for Día de los Muertos on October 29 and 30. You’ll find tons of Artober entertainment options for any budget in these pages, and even more at http://artobersac.com. So get out there and broaden your horizons! The DVR will wait until November.
