Zumiez Couch Tour

On Saturday, June 1, from 10 a.m. to 7 p.m., catch a skate demo that features Plan B Skateboards pros Paul Rodriguez, Ryan Sheckler and Danny Way; participate in Zumiez’s Best Foot Forward amateur skate contest; and hear sick jams from Pigeon John and Dose of Adolescence. Big Wake Weekend

This weekend-long event will see the return of H1 Unlimited Racing to Folsom Lake for the first time in 46 years. There will be tons of other speedboats demoing all over the lake, too. Plus, Shaun Murray, Jimmy LaRiche and Jacob Valdez will be hitting kickers and gettin’ some mad air during a pro wakeboarding event. Yeah, bro: It’s BWW time. Davis BeerFest 2013

Man, I know it’s a bummer that they won’t even have any Coors, Bud or PBR. But there’s gonna be more than 100 other legit brews from more than 40 breweries, plus some good grub (like classy hotdogs and stuff) and performances by reggae-rock groups Massive Delicious and Zuhg, and surf rockers Lava Pups. It’s gonna be at Sudwerk Restaurant & Brewery at 2001 Second Street in Davis from 2 to 5 p.m. on Saturday, June 1. Tickets cost $38 in advance, $45 at the door and $10 for designated drivers.
