RV
A father (Robin Williams) rents an RV in hopes of using some quality vacation time to reconnect with his wife (Cheryl Hines) and their alienated kids (Joanna “JoJo” Levesque and Josh Hutcherson). In years to come, historians will wonder why a witless and nearly laughless script (by Geoff Rodkey), beneath even the talents of Chevy Chase and Randy Quaid, ever managed to interest Williams and director Barry Sonnenfeld—to say nothing of Jeff Daniels and Kristin Chenoweth as a cheerful RV-ing couple who befriend Williams and Hines. That is, historians might wonder. More likely, the movie will simply make a few million bucks and vanish, relegated to the darker closets of Blockbuster and Netflix, and historians will politely forget about it out of respect for the careers of those involved.
