Run to Feed the Hungry 2019

Every year, I get let down by holiday shopping, bored by holiday markets and lullabied by live theater—but one event never fails to brighten my spirits: the Run to Feed the Hungry. It has become the biggest Thanksgiving fun run in the country, drawing thousands of people and raising money for people living with food insecurity in the process. You can run a 5K or a 10K and help support the Sacramento Food Bank & Family Services for the 27th year running. The event is also a unique opportunity for people watching—families and friends running together, waterfalls of people cascading around you on a crisp morning.
