Rugrats in Paris, The

Nickelodeon’s successful franchise still peddles too many booger and poop references to be heavily recommended, but both my kids and I thought this animated, musical romp in the City of Lights was more entertaining than The Rugrats Movie. When Stu Pickles is summoned to an amazing amusement park in France to repair a rampant mechanical dinosaur, he takes along the whole Rugrat crew. The big question here: Will Chuckie Finster, who is being raised by his widowed father, get the new mom he desperately wants or will his dad become just a footstep for the career climbing, Cruella DeVil-like park manager? Celebrity voices include John Lithgow, Debbie Reynolds and Susan Sarandon.
