Rough Night

A bachelorette weekend in Miami for five pals (Scarlett Johansson, Jillian Bell, Zoë Kravitz, Ilana Glazer, Kate McKinnon) turns ugly when they accidentally kill a male stripper (Ryan Cooper), then decide to get rid of the body and pretend it never happened. McKinnon sports the worst Australian accent in the history of the acting profession, but it’s still one of the best things about this no-class female version of Weekend at Bernie’s Meets The Hangover. What possessed Johansson to sign on for this dreck; did she lose a bet? As Johansson’s fiancé, Paul W. Downs goes through some pretty humiliating misadventures, but don’t waste your pity on him—he co-wrote the slimeball script with director Lucia Aniello. Ty Burrell and Demi Moore stop by for cameos and manage to avoid getting caught in the wreckage. J.L.
