Tom Stoppard’s intellectual, talkative ’60s classic imagines the lives of minor characters from Hamlet. But in addition to Shakespeare, director Michael Barakiva’s university production owes plenty to Samuel Beckett, with characters “waiting” like those in Godot, visual puns recalling Endgame, and an invocation of early silent films.
