My e-mail in-box is flooded with news of the BoJangles night club rescue effort. For those who haven’t heard, BoJangles (formerly the Cattle Kurt-Cobain-played-there-for-God’s-sake! Club) had a kitchen fire last October and the music’s been over ever since. Local music fans have started a Relief Fund and a series of benefits to save the smoldering venue. The latest and most exciting effort is this Saturday’s concert featuring The Council, Beat Officers, Red Label and PS ICO. 6 p.m.-10 p.m., Mission Oaks Community Center, 4701 Gibbons Drive, Carmichael. Admission is $8. All proceeds go to BoJangles restoration efforts. Call 386-0390 for more information.
