Recycled Shakespeare

People are always remaking Shakespeare. In fact, the playwright’s words have been reduced, reused and recycled in numerous modern adaptations on the stage and on the screen. Now, Acme Theatre Company in Davis is adding a splash of green. The company will perform As You Like It with recycled materials and props, and will even include women on bikes. The play will show Friday, May 28, through Monday, May 31, at 7 p.m. at the Davis Art Center outdoor stage, 1919 F Street in Davis.
