Recycle hazardous waste

Unless you’re Amish, it’s likely you have hazardous waste in your household. Do you own a television, microwave, computer, cell phone, stereo or batteries? When the time comes for you to dispose of unwanted electronic equipment, make sure you do it properly (and legally) by dropping off your e-waste at a free recycling event. Cal Expo is hosting an event on Saturday, February 23, and Sunday, February 24, from 9 a.m. to 3 p.m. at Gate 10 on Ethan Way in Sacramento.
