Real genius

Some think geniuses are born, but the Davis Art Center believes genius can be made in about two hours. The center has teamed up with the recycling advocates at ReCreate to host the Junk 2 Genius sculpture competition this Friday, September 10, from 5:30 to 9 p.m. Art teams will have two hours to build sculptures using propane torches, basic tools, and a box of recycled parts from bicycles, cars and computers.
