Rama-lama-new-shows
Graham Sobelman, proprietor and musical director of the best cabaret in town, has a new lineup set to take musical theater aficionados into the fall. Next Sunday, a couple of heartthrobs will take the stage: Ian Cullity, Artistic Differences’ lead in the recent concert performance of the rock opera Tommy and closeted lead Jason in Bare, and Tristan Rumery, most recently from a production of Les Miserables at the Hollywood Bowl. The show’s titled Lend Me a Tenor(s)?
More fun to come, too, with shows headlining Leah Kolb (Two Jews Walk Into a Cabaret), Gina Green (Out of Context) and my latest obsession, Nancy Zoppi (currently onstage at the B Street Theatre in Italian American Reconciliation, she’ll be headlining By Request at Graham-a-rama on September 13). For more information about shows, check the Web site, www.grahamarama.com, and get your tix early, because these shows sell out.
