Put on your black tie—or not

It’s the season for dressing up and attending galas. If your Screen Actors Guild or Oscar invitation got lost in the mail, there’s always this neat little fundraiser for the Sutter Street Theatre—and it’s much more reasonably priced. The troupe will host its first Celebration and Auction on Saturday, January 29, in the Sierra Ballroom at the Lake Natoma Inn (702 Gold Lake Drive in Folsom). There will be a red carpet, but black tie is optional (oh, c’mon, you know you want to wear one!). Tickets are $50.
