Some people never get the chance to experience art, because they shy away from museums and galleries. One idea behind hanging art in public places, then, is that these art-averse folks can be seduced by aesthetically appealing works anyway. Ergo the second floor of the Shriners Hospital for Children, where longtime local artist and teacher Mike Dickau currently has some of his color photographs, mostly taken at locations around Italy, on display. The hospital is located at 2425 Stockton Blvd.
