The Garden Authority in The Sacramento Bee Declares Camellias and Azaleas Too Boring
He has not consulted
the other bees and me.
We think their scentless color and design
offer perfect compensation
for fall’s declining floral population.
Azaleas, all papery stars and silky
ruffles;
camellias, carved from satin ivory
in white, pink, red—of such variety
that to be bored
requires the faux satiety
of a garden authority
in The Sacramento Bee.
