It’s time for the annual Arts Festival Weekend at Rudolf Steiner College. The celebration begins with an artists’ reception at 6 p.m. on Friday. See a vibrant and eclectic display of original paintings, sculptures, woodwork and quilts by local artists including Cynthia Caroff, Frank Chester and Diane Goettlicher. The exhibit is open for viewing on Saturday from 2 p.m. until 8 p.m. and on Sunday from noon until 4 p.m. On Saturday night, Paul Matthews, a professor at Emerson College in England, will read poetry with the accompaniment of eurythmist Cynthia Hoven. Eurythmy is a form of movement created by Steiner with the goal of making speech and music visible. This performance begins at 8 p.m. and costs $10. Admission for all other events is free.
