The impeccably groomed folks at the Spanish Fly Hair Garage and Lush Salon and Spa have organized the first ever Rock For Tots Toy Drive, proving that they’re as good-hearted as they are good-looking. Rock is a giving art, so it’s an appropriate way to celebrate the holiday. Three local bands—the Lonely Kings, Dead Celebrities and Vanish Affair—will be donating their sets in the spirit of Christmas. The event also will feature hors d’oeuvres, beer and wine for the over-21 crowd. Help brighten the Christmas of local children: Bring a new toy or cash donation and receive free admission. Proceeds will benefit the Salvation Army and Sacramento area families in need. From 6:30 p.m. to 10 p.m. on Saturday at Spanish Fly Hair Garage, 1723 J Street.
