The second annual Organic Capital celebration happens this Thursday, to recognize the role Sacramento plays in pushing environmental stewardship forward and to honor eco-leaders. Feast on local, organic food and drink and celebrate eco-victories over the past year. The event is free, but organizers ask for a $10 donation. The event, sponsored by Pesticide Watch, Organic Sacramento and other groups, takes place December 11, from 6 to 10 p.m., at the Young Ladies Institute Hall at 1400 27th Street in Midtown.
