Falcon’s Eye Theatre in Folsom marks its 10th anniversary with Edmond Rostand’s evergreen 1897 classic Cyrano, about the larger-than-life raconteur. The protagonist here is, of course, instantly recognizable for his huge nose and plumed hat—as well as for the way he amazes by improvising rhyming verse while winning a duel with his blade. Throughout, he hides the torch he inwardly carries for the beautiful, unattainable Roxanne. Romance and tragedy, poetry and swordplay abound in this venerable chestnut. The show runs through May 14. 7:30 p.m. Friday, April 28 and Saturday, April 29, 2 p.m. Sunday, April 30. $12-$18. Harris Center at Folsom Lake College, 10 College Parkway in Folsom.
