Not so far, far away

For those who have yet to see the animated flick Shrek 2 (or for those who loved it the first time), you now have several screening options: You could pick up a copy at your local video store and watch it from the comfort of your own home. You could add it to your Netflix queue and wait eagerly for its arrival. Or, and this is what we suggest, you could head to the Sacramento Zoo (3930 West Land Park Drive) for a special outdoor screening. Watch as Shrek (the swamp-loving ogre), Princess Fiona (the beautiful princess turned ogre) and Donkey (the mile-a-minute-talkin’ ass) embark on journey to the Kingdom of Far, Far Away. The adventure begins when the gates open tonight (Thursday) at 6:30 p.m. The film will begin at sunset.
