A refreshing irreverence, some lively writing, and wicked riffs on ghetto stereotypes occasionally redeem a spotty story, an obsession with sphincters, and an appalling tastelessness towards women. This sequel to Friday finds homey Craig (Ice Cube) fleeing the ‘hood to evade bully Debo (Tiny Lister); in hiding out at the suburban home of his cousin (Mike Epps), Craig finds the cush life presents its own wacky risks.
