Next Friday star on Saturday

This is for the Friday fans out there, the ones with the DVD propped up against the, uh, “water pipe” in their living rooms. Mike Epps, who played Ice Cube’s sidekick Day-Day in Next Friday and Friday After Next, is bringing his comedy tour to Sacramento. You’ll have to leave the front porch to catch the show, but it will be worth your while. Before Epps broke into acting with films like How High and All About the Benjamins, he was a touring comedian with the Def Comedy Jam. This summer, he’s taking a break between movies to return to his stand-up roots. Comedian Lavell Crawford opens the show.
