Name that bloom
Sure, Alice in Wonderland crooned about flowers in the month of June, but the real fun begins in April at the Pine Hill Preserve. The 4,000-acre preserve is home to five plant species that are threatened or endangered, with three of those found nowhere else in the world. The guided field hikes begin April 25 with a birding trip and continue with wildflower hikes on selected Saturdays through June 6. Trips are limited to 30 people, so register by e-mailing <script type="text/javascript" language="javascript">{ document.write(String.fromCharCode(60,97,32,104,114,101,102,61,34,109,97,105,108,116,111,58,98,97,114,98,97,114,97,95,119,105,108,108,105,97,109,115,64,99,97,46,98,108,109,46,103,111,118,34,62,98,97,114,98,97,114,97,95,119,105,108,108,105,97,109,115,64,99,97,46,98,108,109,46,103,111,118,60,47,97,62)) } </script> before March 30 or <script type="text/javascript" language="javascript">{ document.write(String.fromCharCode(60,97,32,104,114,101,102,61,34,109,97,105,108,116,111,58,103,114,97,99,105,101,108,97,95,104,105,110,115,104,97,119,64,99,97,46,98,108,109,46,103,111,118,34,62,103,114,97,99,105,101,108,97,95,104,105,110,115,104,97,119,64,99,97,46,98,108,109,46,103,111,118,60,47,97,62)) } </script> after March 30.
