Tina Howe’s play is a sendup of the art world’s pretensions and has a large cast (the better to showcase the members of the Actor’s Theatre). The theater becomes a gallery, where a three-artist exhibition has been installed. We see “types”: snobbish art groupies, wannabe artists and photographers, a security guard. Melissa Melancon steals the show in a juicy role as Tink, a friend of one of the artists with some dish and a secret. F, Sa 8pm; Su 7pm. Through 9/5. $13-$15.
