Love or hate Napoleon Dynamite, the liger was introduced to the masses thanks to the crackbrain’s sweet drawings. “Bred for its skills in magic,” the massive beast is a hybrid of a male lion and a female tiger. As sick as it sounds, ligers really do exist, as does the inverse: the tigon (male tiger and female lion). So one could say Tigon, a San Francisco-based thrash-rock outfit, was engineered for its skills in music, with enough shredding and screaming to make one want to crave fresh meat.
