It didn’t make it into these pages for some reason last month, but locals Sister Crayon signed with Los Angeles-based Manimal Vinyl Records this fall. Kudos! The band also went on tour in August for the first time and put out an EP. Since then, however, Sister Crayon has more or less vanished to write new material for forthcoming 2010 recording sessions. Except for this week. Terra Lopez, Dani Fernandez, Nicholas Suhr and Genaro Ulloa will play their last ’09—and probably one for a while—gig.
