Buk Buk Bigups is the solo project of local artist Aaron Zeff, a kind of industrial-synth dance-joke party-vibe sound, which inspires with its almost brash creativity; Weird Forest has coined it “Valley downer funk.” Anyway, Zeff is working on a full band, so for now BBB’s live set will be solo and hovers around the 15-minute mark. Think Ariel Pink and jive-inspired experimental pop that explores a lot of different genres.
