It's hard to predict where Daniel Trudeau (a.k.a. Pregnant) will go from song to song, except that it'll be strange. Imagine the Flaming Lips' most accessible songs remixed by the weirdest glitch producers, or the Residents writing an entire album on a single Casio keyboard, or Animal Collective being played backward on a warped cassette. There isn't even a known genre for the ideas Trudeau is experimenting with. He samples and builds guitar loops, mixes in electronic noises and beats, plays keyboard-horn solos.
