With the best local ensemble cast in recent memory, Theresa Rebeck’s play is a very dark comedy, a tale of greed and desire wrapped up in rare stamps. The value of an inheritance left to two feuding sisters (Lauren Bloom and Kristine David) elicits passion and mystery; it also involves two wheeler-dealers and a stamp store owner (Kurt Johnson, John P. Lamb and Jonathan Rhys Williams). Director Michael Stevenson brings it all together, and take note of Stephen C. Jones’ creative set design. W 7pm; Th, F 8pm; Sa 7pm; Su 2pm. Through 11/7. $22-$30.
