Mas que horchata

There’s a new place to get craft cocktails on R Street. And guys, they also have tacos. The recently opened Mas Tacos Bar (see story on page 25) has a drink that will take you straight to the beaches of Mexico: the Horchata Colada ($11). This dangerously delicious drink is made with Fugu Horchata, coconut, pineapple juice and Meyer’s rum, served in a coupe glass with a rim dipped in toasted coconut, fine sugar and a touch of salt. While I could go for a few more splashes of the pricey cocktail, it’s easy to get lost in this little slice of tropical bliss.
