Lucky numbers are go!

Add up the numbers for the Saturn V, the Hypnotic IV and the Sutters 4 and you get the number 13, which some people consider lucky. String them together and you get 544, the model number of a vintage and, to this scribe, quite desirable Volvo. Add them metaphorically and you get a fine evening of entertainment for “retro” popular music enthusiasts—from surf instrumentals to merseybeat raveups, by three phenomenal groups, one from San Francisco and two from around here. The good times commence at 9 p.m. Saturday, June 1, at Old Ironsides, 1901 10th St.; the cover’s $7; ages 21 and over.
