Live nude girls at the Crest?

Documentary filmmakers Julia Query and Vicki Funari will screen their film Live Nude Girls Unite at the Crest this Saturday. The film offers a rare portrait of women in the sex industry by documenting one stripper’s experience at work, relating to her family and participating in the exotic dancer unionization effort. The screening is part of this weekend’s California National Organization for Women Conference and begins at 8 p.m. with a reception at the Crest Café (next door to the theater, 10th and K streets).
