Little Nicky
This is the very best of the Adam Sandler films. He stars as Nicky, one of the sons of Satan (Harvey Keitel), who must chase his evil brothers to Earth in order to save the eternal life of his dad. The sight gags and stupid jokes hit a high note in the opening moments, and things remain funny throughout the film’s entire running time, a rarity for a Sandler film. While Nicky is perhaps the strangest Sandler character to date, he is also the most endearing. Rodney Dangerfield and Jon Lovitz are very funny in small roles, and this movie contains the year’s best cameos, including a classic one from Henry Winkler.
