Little Cactus Special at Nopalitos rules!

It's easy to complain that Nopalitos only serves breakfast on weekdays. But don't be a damn whiner. Instead, show up late to work at least once a month because you just had to have the classic East Sac spot's Little Cactus Special. This plate, what with its copious cheesy goodness and unexpected tortilla-chip crunch, is like the blue meth of Sacramento Southwestern fare. Straight habit-forming. And simple: eggs mixed with corn and cactus, blanketed in cheese, ranchero or zingy verde sauces (or both, if you're a pro). And that bed of fried tortilla crunch with every bite.
