Like father, like daughter

It’s no surprise that the daughter of sitarist Ravi Shankar, famous for leading the Beatles toward a more worldly sound, and half-sister of jazz-pop star Nora Jones is also a musician. But Anoushka Shankar adds her own stylings to the family instrument—the sitar—accenting the traditional Indian instrument’s music with jazz, electronica and contemporary world music. 8 p.m. 4/5.
