Reaching for the heights.

Reaching for the heights.

“Now, now—don’t bonk Mary on the head with the Wiffle bat, don’t throw Legos at Teacher, don’t be afraid to share your peanut-butter sandwich and always remember to flush, then wash your hands.” Actually, the wisdom imparted in the play All I Really Need to Know I Learned in Kindergarten, loosely based on the hit pop-psychology book by Robert Fulghum, is a bit more trenchant than that; the play consists of a number of vignettes, each illuminating one of the great cosmic truths we learned before we absorbed irony into our worldview. 8 p.m. show Thursday-Saturday; 12:30 p.m. show Sunday. Through March 4 at Garbeau’s Dinner Theatre, 12401 Folsom Blvd. (at Hazel), Rancho Cordova. Tickets: (with dinner) $27 Thursday and Sunday; $32 Friday and Saturday; (show only) $15.
