Refuse the vote
Re “Primary dollars” by Raheem F. Hosseini (SN&R News, May 19):
The Sacramento mayor’s race features two candidates—[Angelique] Ashby and [Darrell] Steinberg—who both had significant roles in the arena scam. Now that the Kings are worth some $400 million more than what they were before the arena, the people of Sacramento deserve to have our $260 million returned. Of course, neither candidate is discussing this matter.
Many Sacramentans are still furious at being denied our right to a vote on handing a billionaire a quarter-of-a-billion dollars of our public money. I thereby urge those who are angry to write NO in the mayoral election. This will give a clear message to those scoundrels that we object to such dishonest, anti-democratic treatment.

Re “Never, ever Trump” by Rachel Leibrock (SN&R Editor’s Note, May 19):
I would suggest you do a fact check, your article is biased and not true. The KKK did not in fact endorse or support Donald Trump. They supported and gave to Hillary Clinton; in fact, Hillary is friends with one of their members. Check your facts.

Re “First do no political harm” by Alastair Bland and Raheem F. Hosseini (SN&R Feature, May 19):
The story incorrectly stated that Ami Bera had not secured the endorsement of the Democratic Party. The party endorsed him in February.
