Let there be light rail!

And behold! Light rail was extended from Broadway past Sacramento City College and all the way out to Meadowview Road. And it was good! And on the opening day of the new South Line rail extension, the people gathered in celebration for a carnival! And it was good! And they gathered on Friday from 5 p.m. until 9 p.m. at the Florin Road light-rail station for live entertainment, clowns, music, face painting and food! And there were commemorative light-rail passports! And prizes! And fireworks at the end of the night! And later, when all were sleepy, they rode the light rail back home!
