Just when you thought you knew how to “be green,” the Sacramento Public Library comes up with a plethora of springtime programs for kids, teens and adults to fill the gaps in their eco-friendly knowledge. Learn recycling magic with magician Trevor Wyatt, catch film screenings, learn do-it-yourself bicycle maintenance and choose smart plants for a backyard garden that require less water You can even learn how to crochet with “plarn,” recycled plastic bags. Programs will be held throughout April and May at various library branches. Visit www.saclibrary.org for a list of all events.
